Changing Broadband Providers
If you already have ADSL broadband, changing broadband providers to Netspace is now easier than ever. The Rapid Transfer process (for ADSL1) or the Fast Churn process (for ADSL2+) allows you to move to a Netspace ADSL broadband plan with minimum fuss and next-to-no ADSL downtime.
What is Rapid Transfer and Fast Churn?
Rapid Transfer and Fast Churn allow you to quickly and easily move between participating ADSL broadband providers, with minimal downtime. The table below shows the typical time between ordering and receiving Netspace Broadband.

Without these processes you will normally experience up to 14 days downtime when changing broadband providers. You will be notified whether Rapid Transfer or Fast Churn is available or not during the sign-up process before you commit to ordering Netspace ADSL broadband.

When you switch to Netspace ADSL broadband via the Rapid Transfer process you will receive free connection on any contract of 6 months or longer. Select a 24-month agreement and we will provide you with a Netspace Standard ADSL modem for free.
Switching to Netspace Broadband is easy!
- Check your current ADSL broadband provider participates in Rapid Transfer if you are ordering a Netspace ADSL1 plan or Fast Churn if you are ordering a Netspace ADSL2 plan.
- Check your ADSL broadband account is active with your current broadband provider.
- Check that your ADSL modem is supported.
- Select an ADSL broadband plan.
- Select either Rapid Transfer or Fast Churn.
Does My Current ADSL Broadband Provider Support Rapid Transfer or Fast Churn?
Most major ADSL broadband providers participate in the Rapid Transfer and Fast Churn process. You can see if your ISP participates by checking the list below.

What Do I Do With My Current ADSL Broadband Connection?
Rapid Transfer and Fast Churn are only available if you have an active ADSL broadband connection – please do not cancel your service with your current broadband provider. If you are still in contract with your current broadband provider the transfer of your service may result in early termination charges. It is your responsibility to confirm the terms of your current agreement.
Does Netspace Support My Modem?
We provide support for modems listed here. If you need to call Technical Support our team can provide basic assistance for any type of broadband modem but we can only diagnose issues for Netspace supported modems.
What Will I Need To Do When Churning?
A few days after you switch to Netspace your ADSL signal will disappear. Once it reappears, usually between two and six hours later, you need to reconfigure your connection with your Netspace username and password. If you encounter any trouble contact our support staff on 131 456.
